Here at Universal Powder Coatings one of our major concerns is the preservation of the environment. The application of thermoset powders is environmentally friendly because there is no overspray residue which cannot be reclaimed. The powder which does not find itself adhered to the piece part is returned to the containment hopper for recycle. The booth which we use is designed to contain the free powder, pull it through a cyclonic system and settle it into a hopper which is then collected and recycled. No solvents or chemicals are used for cleanup, and no harmful VOCs are released with this system.
First and foremost, we offer a thermoset powder coating application in a wide variety of colors, coating formulas, and coating in any volume. No volume requirement is too large for us to handle. We have the capacity to paint a million or more parts for you.
We run our coating line with performance and efficiency in mind. Our racks are designed for maximum performance. Every part is treated with the maximum possible care. All parts are inspected by our quality control personnel before they are returned to you.
Most times, our existing racks will serve a wide variety of products. Ocassionally, racks must be designed to fit and secure a particular product. We have, in house, the ability to creat specialty racks which will serve almost any design shape or size which will fit our booth profile. All of our racks are fabricated from stainless steel. This gives the best possible ground, which insures that the powder will adhere to your product. Stainless steel does not change in conductivity or shape with multiple trips through the ovens. Neither will it lose it's tensile strength with the applied heat.
We have the facility to design and build custom racks for your system, also. In the past, we have found that most of the generic racks offered by companies who make paint system products did not always meet our needs. Some products require simple assembly after the painting process. We offer the service of post paint assembly, in many cases saving your company the time and expense of unpacking, assembly, and repacking prior to your shipping to your clients. We assure careful handling of your product and have a staff of quality control personnel to check our product handling.
We are very aware that shipping damage is a very real problem. When products are shipped in an exposed condition, damage can occur. We are very careful in our packaging operation. Our product is of little value if your product arrives damaged. We take every precaution to protect your product on it's way back to you.
Many cases require that individual parts be wrapped and placed in shipping containers. We take care to insure that individual parts are protected in common containers. After all, our reputation depends upon it!
